Hafizah Kasim references craft-making in local culture through these site-specific creations, reminiscent of dreamcatchers. In九9 IX, she adopts typical methods of crocheting and knitting, using yarn and wire to create illusions of varying depth and invite passers-by to look and linger. The ideas of femininity, wholeness, perfection, infinity and dreams are represented in these hanging circular works, indicating the completion of cycles.
