Tickets for Parent-Child workshops must be purchased as adult-child pair and are only available at the Esplanade Box Office.

Dance, they say, feeds the body and the soul. Others say it is simply sheer enjoyment! There is always a good reason to get shaking with Footwork, a series of introductory dance classes designed for adults, youth and families. This year's series includes specially customised sessions for mums and dads to pair up with their kids to learn a new dance together. Footwork offers sessions for a host of popular dances, all conducted by top dance professionals. Take your pick from classics like Rock N Roll to fusion dances like Afro-Cuban Rumba, or try something unusual like Capoeira (Brazilian martial arts dance) and Bachata (with its origins in the Dominican Republic). It's time for some body and soul nourishment!
